Our sources

We are committed to sourcing high-quality materials right here in Canada. While it's not always possible, we prioritize working with local suppliers, artisans, and businesses that share our dedication to craftsmanship and durability.
Whenever we can, we source leather, wool, hardware, and textiles from Canadian manufacturers and independent craftspeople. By doing so, we contribute to our local economy and help sustain the equestrian community in the Canadian Prairies. Supporting local means investing in the future of our industry—ensuring that riders, trainers, and artisans alike have access to quality, Canadian-made gear.
As a newly established business (founded in summer 2024), we are still working toward our long-term vision, including expanding our facilities and storage capacity. In the meantime, we’ve partnered with select Canadian suppliers through ethical dropshipping agreements. This means that instead of stocking every item ourselves, we purchase products from our trusted suppliers at fair market rates and have them ship directly from their warehouses to our customers. As a result, some of our packages will be labelled with the shipping details of our suppliers instead of direct from our workshop.
This approach allows us to offer a wider range of high-quality tack and gear while growing our business in a sustainable way. More importantly, it keeps money circulating within Canada. When you shop with Sagebrush Tack, you’re not just investing in durable, well-crafted gear; you’re helping to strengthen our local economy, uplift Canadian businesses, and ensure that equestrians across the country have access to the best products made right here at home.
As we grow, we aim to take this commitment even further by incorporating materials sourced directly from our own livestock operation. Our vision is to celebrate traditional skills and natural materials while providing tack that is not only durable but also deeply connected to the land and heritage of the Prairies.
When you choose Sagebrush Tack, you’re not just investing in high-quality, handcrafted gear—you’re also supporting a movement toward sustainable, locally made equestrian products.
