A cordeo, or neck rope, is used in riding to enhance communication and trust between horse and rider, fostering a more harmonious riding experience. By using the cordeo, riders can learn to communicate more subtly with their horse using body language and cues, leading to a more refined and sensitive interaction.

SIZE GUIDE:
- Pony (50") = Approx. between 11hh - 13hh
- Cob (54") = Approx. between 13hh - 15.1hh
- Horse (58")= Approx. between 15.1hh - 16.2
- Warmblood (62")= 16.2+
- Draft (66")= 16.2+ (This will be best suited to drafts with very large, thick necks such as a suffolk punch, percheron, etc.)
Custom measurements welcome.
Please think about neck size! If you have a pony with a very chunky neck then consider sizing up to Cob. Similarly if you have a 15.3hh horse with a very thin neck (thoroughbreds for example) then it may be best to size down to Cob.
This neck rope is meant to sit in the V of the horse's neck and shoulders and at the top of the withers.
TO MEASURE:
Use a string and place in the V of the horses neck and shoulders up to the top of the withers. Mark string, then lay it on the floor length wise and measure with a measuring tape. The tassel should not dangle between the legs. It should not be too loose or too tight.
